Cut Scene and Animated PlatformsPrinciples of Art (Student Innovation Project)
I created an introduction cut scene using the sequencer tool in the Unreal Engine. I was able to move my camera and make key frames quickly. You can even control the camera through its point of view to create smooth animations. The moving platforms were also created using sequencer, making it very easy to animate. The tool shows the paths that the objects are taking along their animation allowing for a smooth animation to be made. |
Animated HologramPersonal Sci-Fi Environment
This hologram was made inside of the Unreal Engine. I started by making a new material and adding a simple galaxy picture to the albedo. All it took was the addition of some back and white lines with a parallax effect to get the wavy lines look. I changed the transparency and added a light emissive to create the final look for the hologram. I wanted to create the illusion that the player could look at a map of the local star system. |

Animated LevelPersonal Portal Level
I took what I had learned in my final animation class to create a level that had a plethora of effects. The effects were all created in the Unreal Engine using the tools within the software. All of the assets are of my own creation. All together, this is an accumulation of work put together within the course of two years. |
